Here's a WIP of my very first functional model. Typically I create high-poly models with polypaint, this time round I'm trying to learn the process of low-poly models with HD UV normal maps, UVs, and all that jam. I've never tried this before, but it's about time I learn how! Starting with this fictional raptor concept to experiment with.
The topology in the final image was automatically generated via ZBrush. I have absolutely learned my lesson in why not to do that, and will commit to manual-retopology in future models!
